Amber Hinson (Strydom), DVM
Veterinarian & Founder of World Tails
Dr. Amber received her academic qualification from Colorado State University's School of Veterinary Medicine and Biological Sciences in May 2005. Subsequently, she completed a one-year internship that concentrated on equine medicine and surgery.
Throughout her career, Dr. Amber has assumed numerous responsibilities within the veterinary medicine sector, treating a wide array of animal species. Her commitment to global service has been evident, as she has provided veterinary care to animals in distress across the globe. This has been achieved through World Tails and in partnership with other organizations dedicated to animal welfare.

Community Organizer & Veterinary Assistant
Chris's diverse skill set and passion for animals make him an invaluable member of our team. His experience with handling all types of animals allows him to connect with the local community on a personal level, building trust and fostering relationships. His interest in veterinary medicine not only benefits the animals we care for but also enhances our overall mission.

Heather Hicks
Treasurer & Administrator
Heather is Dr. Amber's sister and has been an integral part of World Tails since its inception. As our treasurer, she meticulously manages all critical financial and administrative tasks within the United States, ensuring seamless operations while Dr. Amber is engaged in international travel.
In addition to her essential domestic responsibilities, Heather has also contributed significantly to our collaborative mission campaigns abroad, providing invaluable support and expertise. Her unwavering dedication and multifaceted involvement are vital to the success and continuity of our organization.
