Amber Strydom (Hinson), DVM
Veterinarian & Founder of World Tails
Dr. Amber graduated from Colorado State University School of Veterinary Medicine and Biological Sciences in 2005. After graduation she completed a one-year equine medicine and surgery internship in Florida.
Dr. Amber has worked in many different aspects of veterinary medicine and has worked on a wide variety of animal species. She has volunteered all over the world providing veterinary care to all types of animals in underserved areas through World Tails and in conjunction with other animal charities.
Chris Strydom
Community Organizer & Veterinary Assistant
Chris acts as our local community liaison for Africa. He brings to the table an extensive background in handling and training dogs. He is also a very skilled horseman. Chris is fascinated by veterinary medicine and assists with veterinary procedures whenever he can. He is our "muscle" and does all the heavy lifting. As a bonus, he is Dr. Amber's husband!
Heather Hicks
Treasurer
Heather is Dr. Amber's sister and has been with World Tails since it's inception. She is our treasurer and handles all the important details stateside when Dr. Amber is traveling. She has helped out with some of our joint mission campaigns abroad as well.
